Senior .NET Software Engineer

Overview:

Our client will be hiring a Senior .NET Software Engineer for a 3-4 month project. Strong REST API and Oracle database development is important.

This position can be 100% REMOTE (U.S. only).

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex application software to improve process and support business strategies and division objectives.
• Plan, manage, and complete assignments timely. Provide status updates to team and supervisor.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, revise, and test existing computer software, repairing defects to ensure programs continue to meet customer and partner needs.
• Team with business analysts to gather business and system process requirements. Analyze data to provide a framework of understanding for design requirements. Develop program design documents in accordance with published standards.

Qualifications:

• 7 years developing software applications and REST APIs using Visual Studio, .NET Framework 4.6.1, .NET 8, Entity Framework
• Experience writing/designing testable code, unit tests, and integration tests
• Experience with Azure DevOps Services and GIT, including branching, merging, and committing code. Experience with YAML to develop build and release pipelines
• Experience migrating legacy APIs from .NET framework 4 to .NET 8
• Experience with using Open Telemetry in a .NET Application.
• Experience with Oracle as a database repository
