Overview:
Our client will be hiring a Senior Technical Writer with proficiency using Archi for designing ArchiMate architecture models and diagrams.
This Contract will go through 12/31/26. 100% REMOTE expectation.
This role will create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for technical systems, software, and processes by translating complex concepts into accessible language for technical audiences. They develop and maintain a wide range of materials including specifications, diagrams, FAQs, and knowledge base articles ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with company standards.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in technical writing in an IT or software development environment
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and systems
- Proficiency with documentation tools, including Archi for designing ArchiMate architecture models and technical diagrams
- Ability to read and understand, and update technical specifications
- Proficient in using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications to create, manage, and organize technical documentation within structured, version controlled repositories.
Preferred :
- Ability to read and understand code is a plus
- Preferred prior legal experience or knowledge
