Compensation: 60 USD – 80 USD / Hour

Overview:

Our client will be hiring a Tableau Cloud Specialist with development and administration skills. This role will drive the Tableau Cloud implementation. The initial 6 months will focus on administration (70%) and development (30%). After that, expect to develop dashboards and perform basic administration. Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift is ideal.

This 6-month Contract will be 100% REMOTE (US only). There is potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall Tableau Administration, including dashboard standards, performance tuning, governance models, data source optimization, and platform scaling.
  • Define architecture best practices and patterns for extracting, transforming, modeling, and consuming data for BI use cases.
  • Partner with cloud/data architects to design underlying data structures and optimized sources for analytics (e.g., Date Bricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery).
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of supporting BI technologies (Data Prep, Python/R integrations, APIs, Tableau Server/Cloud configuration, etc.).
  • Build highly scalable analytics workflows to support growth, speed, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with peers to transfer technical knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Tableau Cloud administration and development.
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Project lead experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience integrating Tableau with Python, APIs, R, or embedded analytics.
  • Background in enterprise data and analytics implementations is a plus.
  • Experience working with large-scale or multi-department analytics rollouts.
  • Data Governance frameworks and Collibra Integrations are huge plus.
  • Highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Experience integrating with security providers.
