Our Global Technology Infrastructure team plays a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our digital engineering environments, ensuring compliance with industry-leading standards.

We are looking for passionate, innovative hands-on professionals to join our team. We are seeking highly skilled Systems Infrastructure Engineer to be part of a team responsible for ensuring the security and compliance with protecting sensitive data that fall under U.S. rules like ITAR, CUI, and EAR.

As a Security Infrastructure Engineer, you must be a technically strong individual who is a US Person with a passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make a tangible impact. In this role you will be responsible for deployment and maintaining our Gov Secure Chambers, ensuring compliance with the latest CMMC L2 rules built around the NIST 800-171 Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility deploy and support highly secure system environments.
  • Lead efforts to maintain and improve secure environments to meet and exceed Industry security standards.
  • Help ensure high availability of existing secure infrastructures environments.
  • Use internal collaboration tools to document efforts and resolution of customer issues.
  • Able to communicate with both internal and external customers and have investigative type questioning to help resolve their issues.
  • Use Linux and Windows skills to help configure hosts in secure environments using existing best practices and procedures.
  • Expected to deploy highly secure environments and handle all aspects of driving the project to completion like gathering all requirements, creating a schedule by setting expectations, working with engineers in deploying specific software and providing proper infrastructure to handle specialized secure environment.
  • Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure all aspects of providing a highly secure environment are met prior to giving access.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of system software and hardware used by groups in engineering.
  • Perform system administration, monitoring, upgrades, maintenance, and deployment of multiple environments.
  • Evaluate new technologies and methods.
  • Assist in automation and Infrastructure as code procedures.
  • Highly skilled with extensive proficiency and technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Required technical experience minimums
    • Experience with the fundamentals of Linux / Windows administration and scripting languages (e.g Shell scripts, Python)
    • 6 years of IT work experience managing infrastructure in complex network environments
    • 3 years’ experience working in enterprise virtualization platforms for on-prem cloud solutions like Proxmox , OpenStack, VmWare
    • 3 years’ experience working with infrastructure monitoring services including Prometheus/Grafana, systems metrics (such as Zabbix or CheckMk), experience with security tooling for vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
    • Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) Tools (Nice to have)
  • Required work & industry experience
    • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on maintaining secure environments compliant with CMMC standards.
    • Strong understanding of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework and its application in a global organization.
    • Have worked in architecting solutions with securing highly sensitive data
    • Proven ability to conduct thorough security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable plans.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
    • Experience working in a global organization is a plus.
