Compensation: 140000 USD – 160000 USD / Year

Overview:
Our client will be hiring a Lead Software Engineer with full-stack experience and polyglot technical skills. They are a technology agnostic solution provider with more than 30 years of experience. They architect and deliver innovative software and data solutions that define high-performing market leaders.

Core technical skills include Java, C#, AWS, and either React.js or Angular on the front end.

This position is hybrid (2-3 days per week in the Portland area).

Expect to work with IT leaders and business partners to perform analysis, technical documentation, coding, installation, ongoing support and team leadership. You’ll collaborate with business and technical teams to define business problems in detail and establish functional, data and technical activities, including conceptual system design, technical design and documenting detailed specifications. You’ll also work with other technical leads to plan new releases, explain requirements, direct a team of other application engineers in development efforts and resolve problems.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer
  • 5 years writing code in Java
  • 2 years writing code in C#
  • Solid understanding of SQL
  • Cloud expertise (Azure or AWS)
  • JavaScript/TypeScript experience
  • Solid understanding of SPA (React, Angular 2 )

Preferred:

  • Consulting or MSP experience.
  • Experience creating automated unit test
  • Experience with Web-Service (REST) frameworks
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns
  • Proven ability to work in a Test-Driven Development manner
  • Solid understanding of HTTP (headers, protocol, verbs, etc)
