Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Workday Analysts to join our team as part-time functional and technical experts supporting ongoing enhancements, maintenance, and issue resolution post-Workday launch. This will extend the capabilities of our core Workday team, providing specialized expertise across integrations, payroll, absence, compensation, performance, and learning modules.
As part of a collaborative and agile HRIS function, you will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality Workday solutions while ensuring system integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Functional and Technical Support
- Provide expertise in strategy, prioritizing road mapping, remediation of business process (BP) and hands on implementation of configuration across environments Provide ongoing enhancement and break/fix support across assigned Workday modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with functional users and the Senior Workday Analyst for escalation as needed.
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation of changes.
- Support Workday semi-annual release management, including review of new features, testing, and adoption planning.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations with internal and third-party systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with security standards.
Module Expertise
Focus on a subset of the following areas, based on expertise and team needs:
- Integrations: Serve as the primary integrations support resource, managing inbound/outbound data flows, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Studio integrations.
- Payroll (U.S./U.K.): Support payroll processing, testing, configuration updates, and integration with external vendors.
- Absence Management: Maintain absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules; ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Performance & Talent: Manage business processes related to performance reviews, goal management, and succession planning.
- Advanced Compensation: Support compensation cycles, merit plans, and compensation statement generation.
- Learning & Development: Administer and optimize the Workday Learning module, including course management and reporting.
Testing and Release Management
- Participate in regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday updates, configuration changes, and new integrations.
- Document test results and coordinate sign-off from functional leads.
- Support communication and training for new Workday functionality as applicable
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on Workday functional or technical experience across one or more of the following areas: Integrations, Payroll, Absence, Compensation, Performance, or Learning.
- Prior involvement in post-implementation or continuous improvement activities in a Workday environment.
- Experience supporting semi-annual Workday releases, testing, and impact analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a commitment to quality and user satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in a virtual, cross-functional environment.
- Preferred: Workday certification(s) or training in relevant modules.
