Sr. PHP Software Engineer (Remote)

Overview
 

• Our client will be hiring two Senior Full Stack PHP Developers to join their growing team.
• For one position, demonstrated architectural vision and a commanding grasp of PHP and Laravel is important.
• They will report to the CTO and work collaboratively with a team of 4 PHP developers.

 
**This can be a 100% REMOTE position (Pacific Time or Mountain Time preferred)**

Responsibilities
 

• Full Stack architecture and development including PHP, Laravel framework, add features (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), improve the product, MySQL database design.
• Help improve the product, there’s a heavy backlog of features to add for customer interaction. 
• Build and improve a Web application that customers interact with on a web platform.
• API integration with clients’ accounting systems.
• Communicate with external clients, troubleshoot issues.
• Potential future projects include migrating to Vue.js.
• Support C# applications, two existing code bases are written in C#.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building Web Applications with PHP.
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony framework preferred.
• Experience with MVC design pattern
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery development  
• MySQL – support, write SQL queries

Preferred

• Cloud-based development  
• Front end development with React.js or Vue.js
• Architecture experience
