Business Need/Purpose of Role:
This role will provide 3rd line support activities occasionally assisting and mentoring the 2nd line team in resolving incidents and assisting with requests from the business. The focus will be to provide support for both the end users and the architecture team and act as a Citrix SME resource.
Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities:
Although this list is not exhaustive, responsibilities and duties will include the following:

  • Provide detailed reporting on Citrix specific metrics such as performance, growth, and usage.
  • Actively monitor Citrix system performance to proactively identify issues before they impact business functions
  • Responsible for security within the Citrix environment
  • Ensure service delivery to our customers meets or exceeds expectations by enhancing systems, processes or procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of Group and Division IT Policy
  • Support 2nd line team with service and incident request resolution for the Citrix platform
  • Manage Citrix infrastructure and improve resilience
  • Cross train 3rd line team to ensure full coverage to support all systems
  • Assist the local IT team with any Citrix related issues

Mandatory Skills
Candidates must have at least 5 years Citrix experience supporting in the enterprise.  They should also have knowledge in the following areas:

  • Citrix Cloud / Virtual Apps and Desktops
  • Citrix XenApp 7.15 LTSR
  • NetScaler Gateway
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Windows Group Policy
  • Windows Server OS (2012 – 2019)
  • Windows 10
