Our client is seeking a manager to join the Corporate Accounting Group to support the implementation and system administration of Oracle EPM, with a focus on FCCS. In this role, the candidate will support the strategy, design, build and testing of the company’s new Oracle EPM FCCS application. Post Go-live, the candidate will maintain the application and any further enhancements and partner with internal IT teams for support. The ideal candidate will have experience with consolidations and strong technical accounting knowledge. Responsibilities:

  • Participate on the design, build, deployment, and training of Oracle EPM FCCS consolidation application
  • Evaluate, test, and implement enhancements and any Oracle upgrades
  • Lead environment problem solving, tracking, communication, root cause identification, and solution implementation
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership in support of business units and finance teams as it relates to the design of new functionality, maintenance of the application modules/processes, prioritization of enhancements and development with senior management.
  • Maintain documentation around system design and functionalities
  • Provide ongoing training to the business on Oracle FCCS functionality or changes
  • Metadata maintenance
  • Manage security requests, maintenance, and periodic user access reviews
  • Identify new releases and understand planned effects and testing
  • Monitoring remediation ticket status and implications
  • Monthly close process/consolidation and create and maintain end-user web forms
  • Responsible for validation of data for movement between financial applications
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to drive positive change across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned.

 
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or MIS, Information Systems or Business degree with extensive technical/database experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Information Systems related to EPM system with a Large public global company with multiple currencies or consulting firm
  • Strong understanding of intercompany processes
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Management including drill-through to source data

 
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience with FCCS, PBCS or HFM system administration preferred
  • Proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
  • Team oriented with an ability to also work independently, with minimal guidance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with functional, senior, and executive management
  • Solid planning and organizational skills along with an ability to manage competing demands and an aptitude for information technology
  • Good oral and written communication skills
