Overview:
Our client will be hiring a Senior Business Analyst to support product development and technology teams across the Customer Solutions portfolio by translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
This Contract is expected to go through 12/31/26. 100% REMOTE expectation. This role is Oregon remote role, with a preference to be in office up to 2x annually.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and workflow documentation used by development and QA teams.
- Partner with product owners, architects, developers, and QA to ensure shared understanding and alignment from concept through delivery.
- Create test cases, support UAT, and validate that solutions meet business objectives.
- Prepare release notes, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of Workers’ compensation insurance is ideal.
- Expertise with defining requirements.
- Experience in software delivery environments (Agile) as a BA.
- Expertise working with technical and business stakeholders, translating needs into clear documentation.
- Competence in process mapping, data analysis, workflow design, and functional testing.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, generative AI, intelligent automation) to accelerate BA activities such as documentation, data analysis, requirements validation, or test case creation.
