Compensation: 60 USD – 80 USD / Hour

Overview:

Our client will be hiring a part-time Senior Business Systems Analyst to work 20 hours per week. We are looking for expertise with telephony infrastructure and with technical architecture diagrams.

This position is 100% remote. Initial Contract expectation is 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing a Statement of Work for a System Integrator to implement a new UC platform.
• Participate in business requirements gathering sessions with business analysts and other stakeholders.
• Analyze business requirements in order to create detailed systems requirements documentation (SRD), document process flows, and perform system impact analysis.
• Identify and document functional and non-functional systems requirements, ensuring SRD is delivered to the development team.
• Identify stakeholders and consult with appropriate IS partners to design solutions for regulatory reporting requirements.
• Facilitate design sessions between developers, business analysts, and testers to construct solutions that meet business needs and project goals.
• Initiate peer review discussions and incorporate feedback into systems requirement documents.
• Design screen and user interface mockups for requirements documents to assist development teams in building screens.
• Provide assistance to business analysts, testers, and developers to support the accurate creation of business requirements documentation, test cases, and code/configuration of solutions.
• Track deliverables and key activities and provide estimates for completing system requirements.
• Conduct requirements walkthrough with development and testing teams. Ensure clarification and understanding on all requirements.
• Review coverage of test conditions and prioritize test scenarios for QA team.
• Review defects and develop corrective action plan.
• Assist with the management of change control requirements documentation through the use of a tool for requirements management.
• Explore diverse perspectives and consistently behave sensitively toward differences in cultural norms, expectations, and ways of communicating. Work effectively with others who have different perspectives, backgrounds, and/or work styles.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Experience with telephony infrastructure
• Experience with technical architecture diagrams
